Syscoin Ecosystem Update 2026.02.11
2026 is the year Syscoin turns hard engineering into visible outcomes. This update shows that shift in motion. zkSYS is moving from internal devnet to a public testnet built for builders. Lunos is not only pivoting, it is funded and entering a four-month R&D push to design a compliance-first Edgechain on zkSYS. SuperDapp continues to tighten user experience, and Pali is through remediation and in final QA. Proof-of-Builders advances with new teams, new MVPs, and a dedicated devnet you can watch live.
We are opening the year with steady delivery, clearer roadmaps, and more builders in the pipeline. Below are the highlights and the full breakdown across the stack.
Highlights
- ⚡ zkSYS servers coming online for public testnet, ETA early February. A dedicated PoB Devnet is live for builders.
- 🦸 SuperDapp shipped quality-of-life fixes, launched @mentions and Edit Message in Super Groups, and continued work on the Treasure Hunt, Quest Mast, and Token Launcher AI Agents.
- 👛 Pali Wallet V4 rolls out this week: faster, simpler, more secure, with native UTXO + EVM support and automatic chain discovery.
- ☂️ Lunos governance passed, R&D for a compliance-first Edgechain on zkSYS is underway with a progress update coming soon.
- 🌍 DevRel advanced Proof-of-Builders Iteration 3, highlighted election-integrity work in Honduras, and announced new MVPs from Iteration 2.
⚡ zkSYS
- We are standing up the servers required for public testnet. ETA remains early February.
- PoB Devnet is live so the community can build and test on a dedicated Edgechain: https://explorer-pob.dev11.top
🦸 SuperDapp

In progress
- Quest Master and Treasure Hunt AI Agents for Super Groups, aligned with last year’s governance program.
- Token Launcher AI Agent from the governance track.
👛 Pali Wallet
- All issues from the Cyrex report are fixed.
- Final internal QA is underway before public release.
V4 is ready and rolling out this week.
After months of focused development and QA, Pali Wallet V4 is set for release. V4 is a ground-up redesign that prioritizes speed, stability, and everyday clarity while keeping the power users expect.

Before you update
- Write down and securely back up your seed phrase.
- Store it safely.
- Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone.
Large updates may log you out. Having your seed phrase on hand ensures uninterrupted access.
What’s new in V4
- Simpler, cleaner UX. Clear navigation, faster account and network switching, better asset visibility, no learning curve.
- Faster everywhere. Snappier unlock, faster loads, smoother flows across multiple accounts and chains.
- Stronger multichain support. Native experience across UTXO and EVM networks: Bitcoin, Syscoin UTXO, Syscoin NEVM, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, BSC, and more.
- Security by design. No key material copied to clipboard, obfuscated key display by default, improved auto-lock and password flows.
- Smarter imports. Token import is streamlined, and automatic chain discovery with search makes adding networks effortless.
- Stability you can feel. Reported crashes and freezes from V3 are addressed. V4 is markedly faster and more reliable in daily use.
Who it’s for
- Newcomers who want clarity on day one.
- Power users who need speed and control without bloat.
- Builders and users across the Syscoin stack and upcoming zkSYS edgechains.
What happens next
- The extension update begins this week. Share the announcement, double-check your seed phrase, and be ready to upgrade.
- Feedback will be collected post-launch to guide rapid polish releases.
Why it matters
Pali V4 unifies UTXO + EVM usability in one extension, making it easier to onboard users, test apps, and prepare for zkSYS adoption without juggling multiple wallets or interfaces.
☂️ Lunos
Product progress
- Integration of the Asset Manager with the web app is complete. A careful test phase starts now, followed by a full smart-contract audit prior to production launch.
Governance update
- The Syscoin community approved Lunos’ proposal to fund four months of R&D for a compliance-first Edgechain on zkSYS. This research and development will be focused on reviewing the feasibility of hopefully achieving the following in the future:
- Full chain architecture on zkSYS with settlement to Syscoin.
- Compliance modules for KYC, KYB, AML, and jurisdiction rules.
- Identity and permissioning flows with wallet-level controls.
- Early system contracts, token utility, fee framework.
- ZK integration plan with feasibility prototypes.
- Enterprise API and private RPC requirements plus SDK spec.
- A partial progress report will be published in the coming weeks.
🌍 DevRel
Proof-of-Builders
- Iteration 3 is underway in January, with 9 teams advancing into week two. Dapps are under review at https://pob.syscoin.org
Iteration 2 winners - ECOSYS took first place. They are moving toward an MVP that records recycling events as verifiable proofs on Syscoin’s dual-layer architecture, pairing UTXO anchoring with NEVM logic for identities, validation, and tokenized incentives.
Congratulations to ECOSYS & @DANIELARMA17879, winners of the Proof of Builders hackathon in Peru! 🇵🇪
— Syscoin (@syscoin) January 26, 2026
Their project is creating a recycling traceability and certification system built on Syscoin’s hybrid architecture, combining UTXO efficiency with NEVM programmability.
Every… https://t.co/FRfUmZ88DS
- Certime is first runner-up. They are building an “attestation as a service” tool for Peruvian businesses that anchors cryptographic hashes of accounting books on Syscoin NEVM. The aim is legal-grade integrity and lower exposure to regulatory penalties through immutable proofs.
Honduras election transparency, December 2025
- During the 2025 presidential election, independent groups assembled a public verification layer by digitizing tally sheets, hashing them, storing the artifacts on IPFS, and anchoring the resulting CIDs on-chain
- In practical terms this did not replace the official count. It created a tamper-evident audit trail. If any document were altered later, its hash would no longer match the on-chain record.
- Write-ups from the collaborators describe Syscoin Rollux used in combination with LACChain for the anchoring step. This pattern is the same one we continue to advance for election integrity work across the region.

Looking Ahead
- zkSYS public testnet comes first, then a cadence of public iterations.
- SuperDapp keeps expanding Super Groups.
- Pali graduates from QA to public release.
- Lunos publishes its first R&D progress note and prepares artifacts for the implementation phase.
- Proof-of-Builders moves more teams toward real MVPs.
If you are building apps that need sovereignty and verifiable audit trails, now is the time to pick a place to plug in.
The next steps are concrete. zkSYS public testnet comes online, then frequent iterations. SuperDapp continues to expand Super Group. Pali’s audited release moves from QA to public. Lunos publishes its first R&D progress note and turns specifications into prototypes. Proof-of-Builders advances more teams toward deployable products on Bitcoin-anchored rails.
If you build, now is the time to plug in. Explore the PoB devnet, review the Lunos R&D proposal, try SuperDapp updates, and follow the zkSYS testnet as it opens. We will keep shipping code and proofs that make sovereignty practical for real users.
