This period marks one of the most exciting moments in Syscoin’s history, the public launch of the zkSYS Genesis Testnet. zkSYS is the first Edgechain in Syscoin’s modular architecture, demonstrating how Bitcoin-secured smart contracts can scale securely and permissionlessly. Whether you’re a builder, developer, or enthusiast, the doors are now open to explore, test, and create.

⚡ zkSYS Testnet

  • Public Testnet Launch: The zkSYS Genesis Testnet is live! This is the first Edgechain built on Syscoin’s modular architecture, secured via Gateway (merge-mined with Bitcoin) for the strongest possible security.
  • Edgechain Architecture: Each Edgechain (zkSYS Genesis, Prime, Lunos, or future chains) operates independently but settles finality on Syscoin’s L1, inheriting Bitcoin’s trust guarantees.
  • ZK Rollup Explained: Transactions are processed in batches with cryptographic proofs verifying validity. This ensures speed, scalability, and tamper-proof settlement.
  • Get Started:

The testnet is fully live and ready for exploration. Builders can deploy contracts, test execution, and see firsthand how Bitcoin-secured zkRollups operate .


 

🦸 SuperDapp

  • AI Agents Development: The Treasure Hunt agent, part of last year’s Syscoin governance proposals, has completed development and entered internal testing. Quest Master and Token Launcher agents continue progress.
  • Hackathon Engagement: Syscoin is actively promoting Latin American hackathons, providing guidance to developers integrating AI Agents with SuperDapp.
  • Infrastructure Improvements: A major migration is underway to enhance performance, optimize costs, and ensure operational reliability.
  • App Enhancements:
    • Users can now mention others in Super Groups using “@”.
    • Edit messages in Super Groups.
    • Multiple bug fixes and performance improvements across chats and notifications.
  • Governance Participation: A new governance proposal has been submitted — join the discussion and voting on Syscoin’s Discord.

     

👛 Pali Wallet

  • Pali v4 Launch: Pali Wallet V4 is live! The update introduces:
    • Faster load times and smoother interactions.
    • Enhanced multichain support across Syscoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, and BSC.
    • Redesigned UX with clearer account and network management.
    • Improved security: seed phrases remain private, obfuscated keys by default, and stronger auto-lock/password protections.
    • Automatic token and chain imports with a new search field.
  • QA & Stability: Internal QA is complete and no major issues have been reported. Users are encouraged to back up seed phrases before updating.

☂️ Lunos

  • Governance Proposal Progress: The R&D phase of Lunos’ compliance-first edge-chain on zkSYS continues. Over this month, the team has:
    • Begun architecting the identity-enforced execution layer.
    • Defined compliance and enterprise infrastructure specifications.
    • Validated zkSYS integration pathways.
    • Started prototyping system contracts for DID, compliance, and fee management.
  • Asset Manager: Testing continues to ensure reliability before audit and production deployment.

  • Proof-of-Builders Hackathon: Iteration #3 continues, with 8 teams deployed to devnet and under community review.
  • Institutional Partnerships: A university and a technical institute have started collaboration agreements with the Syscoin Foundation to integrate Syscoin knowledge into formal curriculums.
