Jag Sidhu (Core dev): "I’m working on the last major contracts issue, before final approval from art-of-bug."

SDMT Marketing:  "We are preparing for the Bridge marketing push, and also setting things up for Blockparty Amsterdam. This event will help widen our network and spread brand awareness among some very large companies that will be in attendance. We are also focusing on things that don't require a budget but benefit Syscoin in general, like getting more developers interested, and getting miners on board to make Syscoin even more decentralized.
Together with Aegisker we are also improving the website, and we will launch the new interactive roadmap soon, as well as the Bridge Dapp and the Faucet, which will be done in the same style as the website."

SDMT Development: "Blockmarket Web - currently working on Listing items in both Fiat and Crypto and pegging conversion rates. Working on authorization and customization of store profiles."

LODE AGXPay Wallet now Available for Testing

The custom AGXPay wallet developed by Blockchain Foundry (BCF) for holding the AGX SPT (Syscoin Platform Token) is now available for closed beta testing - find out more here.

Summary of Q&A with SDMT

What are you doing to market Syscoin in the short term?
The main focus now is marketing the bridge when it goes live, we have been preparing for that for a while now. and it looks like we are in luck because interoperability and ETH scaling are hot topics lately! So that should give the bridge the attention it deserves. With the current price it is is hard to execute every plan and idea we have, but we do our best to work with what we’ve got. as you might have noticed the awareness of our TPS grew the last month as well which is a great foundation for the bridge marketing.

I can share some stuff we are working on atm: besides the preparation for the  bridge marketing push the marketing division is preparing Blockparty Amsterdam. This event will be a great way to widen our network and spread brand awareness among some really big companies that will be attending! We are also focusing on things that don't require a budget but benefit Syscoin in general, like getting more developers interested,  and getting miners on board to make Syscoin even more decentralized.

What if it goes unnoticed?
We have to make sure that doesn't happen, and we will! Indeed we work together with a great PR that has good connections that will help for sure.

How is Blockmarket Web dev going?
Pretty awesome. BMW is moving along a bit faster than initially proposed. We proposed 9 months before MVP but we've got SYS payments, and bulk import working.  Next is working on the UI.

Do you have a revised ETA for BMW?
Nope. We're keeping the MVP ETA as-is for now as we need to wait for the identity layer and ipfs. We're hoping to work with Zontar on the IPFS layer and hook up Neuron on the backend of BMW. We have listings working as well. A user can post an item with photos but not videos yet. The user back-end is mostly working too.

I thought in September the silence mode would end?
It will end when the bridge is live

Any date for the Bridge?
We don’t give dates, most important is that it works 100% when launched. The core devs are working hard to make sure it is; don’t worry we want to have it done asap as well.
