This weekly update is written by the Syscoin Development and Marketing Team (SDMT) to bring you all the latest Syscoin, Blockchain Foundry and SDMT news.

Syscoin and BCF News

* MANDATORY UPGRADE TO SYSCOIN 4.1.3 *

This a mandatory upgrade for masternode operators and Qt wallet owners/operators. All nodes and QT must be upgraded to Syscoin Core 4.1.3 to ensure they can remain synced with the network. Full instructions are here.

A number of notable optimizations, enhancements and fixes will be activated on the Syscoin Network after block 448,000, estimated April 6 or 7, 2020.

New Syscoin Foundation Board Members

We are delighted to announce that, after listening to the community, we are now onboarding Brad, Alex, and Sebastien as Syscoin Foundation board members! All three have a great track record when it comes to contributing to Syscoin and have been active with the project for many years. We are looking forward working with them closer in our endeavour to grow and further develop Syscoin.

Masternode buzz

Syscoin masternodes have leapt up to position 5 in the Masternode Buzz top ten performing masternodes - get 'em while they're cheap!

Covid-19 Update

We would like everyone to know that in spite of the Covid-19 virus it's business as usual for Syscoin, and we will continue to develop and market Syscoin with the same pace we're all accustomed to.
Syscoin Foundation members are spread all over the world with only a few members working from the Eindhoven office. The Eindhoven office will be closed for two weeks to allow members to work from home.
Syscoin Moderators and SDMT are decentralized and will continue work from home, or wherever they are, as they have in the past.
Blockchain Foundry staff are mostly decentralized, but for two weeks BCF will temporarily close both Vancouver and Toronto offices to allow staff to work from home. It is important for everyone to be responsible for their health and and respectful of other's.

Our organisations are already set up to flourish during this kind of event and this is the exact environment that blockchain technology was designed for. Once the world realizes this, our spotlight will shine.
Stay safe and wash your hands! Remember to go outside when you can!
